Drama Society
The Drama Society is comprised of students from he Abington Heights High School. The students meet after school and work with acting professionals or professionals in training. The Drama Society conducts several school wide programs, including the Playwright's Festival where the professionals work with high school, drama, acting, and creative writing classes. These classes work with the playwrights to cast, direct, and rehearse various short plays. A final production would involve parents and community members. Members of the Drama Society will have the opportunity to attend field trips to see locally staged productions. Many of these productions will include workshops and Q & A sessions following the performance.
