The Abington Area Joint Recreation Board is committed to providing a summer program for middle school aged children in the Abington Heights School District. This Earth Camp will involve 50 campers for each of two three-week summer camp sessions.
The Earth Camp program will target three critical themes of Environment, Art, and Health, integrating science and art in meaningful ways. The programming content will be hands- on, stimulating, and supported with valuable partnerships with Keystone College art students, Abington Heights drama students, Abington Heights Community Library, Lackawanna State Park, and Abington Heights School District. The camp’s programming and curriculum is designed to enrich the curriculum of the Abington Heights Middle School.
