The objective of the Music Technology Lab (MTL) is to enhance the music curriculum through effective use of carefully chosen music education software. The middle school music lab has grown to 17 workstations with a student capacity of 32.
The curriculum being offered is on the cutting edge of middle school music education and adds a whole other dimension to Abington Height’s traditional music offerings. It is giving those students who are not involved in traditional performance ensembles such as band, orchestra, and chorus, an opportunity to experience music education in a fun and exciting environment with hands-on applications utilizing 21st century technology.
