The Middle School Science Fair Kick-off is an interactive traveling science presentation geared to Middle School students as the “Kick-off” for the Science Fair at AHMS. The presentations and exhibits are tailored to both the academic curriculum and the ages of the students. The presenters also show the students how they use scientific methods in their areas of work. The program for the past year included a presentation from ZOOAmerica that brought live animals, birds, and reptiles to the Middle School as an interactive science lesson. This educational program was presented to all of the middle school students, demonstrating how information learned in their science classes comes alive with this hands-on, live learning experience for every student in the school!
