(AEIO) Abington Heights Educational Improvement Organization

The Abington Heights Educational Improvement Organization (AEIO) is both a public non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation and an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) as designated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our Mission to gather community support and resources in order to supplement and enhance the educational environment and programs within the Abington Heights School District with emphasis on sponsoring innovative programs or projects not part of the regular academic curriculum.   AEIO is run by a Board of Directors, with representation from all facets of the Abington community.

 

(DCED) Department of Community and Economic Development

 (EIO) Educational Improvement Organization

Educational Improvement Organizations are non-profit organizations that have ben approved by DCED fro participation in EITC program.  To become an EIO, the nonprofit must apply annually to the DCED and demonstrate how their programs improve educational opportunities for students.  The state provide strict guidelines under which programs can be funded by the EIO.

 

(EITC) Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

 Officially know as Act 4 of 2001, the EITC program amends the Pennsylvania Public School Code to authorize Tax Credits for businesses that make contributions to education improvement organization or scholarship organizations
